Welcome
Welcome to Saint Fabian Catholic Church - still the newest Catholic Church in the Diocese of Biloxi, Mississippi, United States.
As a Eucharistic people celebrating our diverse cultures, we unite as one body of Jesus, strengthened by the Sacraments, and nourished by the living word of God.
As a faith community striving to become “intentional disciples” of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we commit ourselves to serve one another in the community at large. We have many ministries at Saint Fabian that help us in our mission and allow for full active participation by all.
We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Jesus, discover their gifts, and use them for the glory of God.
Saint Fabian is a warm and embracing church family and we welcome all to join us.
As the popular hymn says,
“All are welcome in this place”!

A short History
Get to know more about what makes us different.
The Bellevue and Oak Grove areas have enjoyed tremendous growth in their residential neighborhoods over the past 25 years. Over the same period of time, Pine Belt priests, Catholics, and the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi have been interested in building another church in the area . The Diocese of Biloxi then identified a specific need in the West Hattiesburg / surrounding areas based on the continued growth and development in the region. That led to the question of ‘where?’ with an area in such a growth boom, if ‘the dream’ church could ever be reality.
The generosity of one man answered both questions. Richard Fabian McCarthy donated the property on which the church would be constructed. This community will always be indebted to Richard McCarthy for his foresight and benevolence. Hence, Saint Fabian Parish was born.
